Robert Williams (1898 - 1971)received his pilot license while in the Army in WW I, later serving with the 158th Aero Pursuit Squadron in France. After his discharge, Mr. Williams was a test pilot, aerobatic instructor, barnstormer, and flew air mail. He was called-up from the Air Corps Reserve in WW II as a full Colonel. With the end of WW II, Robert Williams resided in Phoenix, AZ until his death.
