Ecstatic Music Festival ClassicalClassical Music
The scintillating, shape-shifting world of indie classical music convenes for its annual love fest, which continues through March 29. Events kick off on Jan. 31 with a live webcast (the show is sold out) of the indie-rock trio Hospitality and the teenage whiz-kids Face the Music at the Greene Space. On Feb. 1 two ensembles, Dawn of Midi and Bright Wave, blur the lines between electronic and acoustic sound at Merkin Concert Hall.
